Description: LIFE MAGAZINE 7/17/50. VOL 29 NO. 3 with 120 pages. The magazine is in GOOD condition with address label affixed to front cover with minor wear and the lower 1/3 of spine is loosened from the pages and has two pieces of tape attached. The inside pages have light age discoloration and wear on edges with all pages still intact and very readable. COVER: Less than two hours before this picture was taken in Japan, Captain Raymond E. Schillereff, 34, an F-80 pilot, shot down a North Korean fighter "Yak" near Seoul, Korea. This happened on the 2nd day of the fighting. Captain Schillereff, here wearily drinking out of a cup bearing his name and squadron insigne, was one of the first Americans to report a dogfight victory. In World War II he was an F-51 pilot shot down four German Planes.
