ON THE COVER: The ring game is not a game you can pay all evening but it is alway good for a lot of gigles. It is related to the old sniff game and the pass-the-matchbox game and is one of the old pastimes which this year's teen-agers (pp. 67-75) have rearranged to suit their taste. The boy and girl shown on the cover passing a ring from pencil to pencil are Jessamy Hines and John Shawver, both 17, of Oklamoma City. If John and Jessamy should laugh and drop the pencil or let the ring slide off as it is passed around they are out of the game The last couple in is the winner.
