Description: JMVintage specializes in books, magazines, and treasures related to the Duke & Duchess of Windsor....and other curious subjects. These are remarkable facsimile copies of the original Pug dolls that the Duchess had in her bedroom and that were sold in the Duke & Duchess of Windsor Society Sotheby's auction in 1998, lot. They are constrcuted identically to the ones the Duchess kept at the foot of her bed. The Pug dog dolls are made from medium weave, Italian muslin fabric. Stuffed with old fashioned (100% American made) cotton batting. The bottom has an acid free card board insert in order for the doll to stand. Bottom is whipped-stitched by hand. Three sizes: 12" x 7", 9" x 5", 6" x 3.5". Shipping/handling will be added to your order: $10 US via Federal Express ground. Outside of US--contact for a price.
